This may be more of a Quake 4 bug than a Q4MAX issue, but I haven't seen any mention of it so I'll bring it up.
When you telefrag someone, it doesn't register as a telefrag. It is marked on the kill messages and console text as a kill with whatever weapon you are currently holding.
So, if you walk through a teleporter holding a Nailgun and telefrag someone, it is listed as a Nailgun kill. Likewise, with a Rocket Launcher, it is marked as a rocket kill.
Somewhat amusing, but kind of annoying, as its confusing for spectators and players as well, to an extent, as when someone is telefragged, it becomes unclear what the hell just happened.
